Description
The Fenix PD40R V2.0 flashlight has a maximum output of 3000 lumens from the Luminus SST-70 LED and is powered by an included 21700 li-ion battery. The torch is compatible with Fenix's ALF-18 battery magazine which allows an 18650 cell to be used instead if preferred; please note, the ALF-18 and 18650 battery are not included.

The torch is an updated version of the popular PD40R, with the main difference being the 21700 battery which provides improved runtimes. Additionally, the V2.0 model is operated using a rotary switch at the head of the light for smooth and easy mode selection.

The PD40R V2.0 is rechargeable via a USB Type-C port for fast and easy charging. When using a 5V/2A adapter (not included) the battery takes approximately 3.5 hours to fully charge. The flashlight has a battery level indicator towards the head end of the torch which displays the battery status when the light is switched on. If the indicator is green it means the battery is between 85% and 100%, if it flashes green it is between 50% and 85%, if it's red the battery is between 25% and 50% and if it flashes red the level is critical between 1% and 25%.
